Weirs Beach Municipal Docks Reconstruction

The City of Laconia is reconstructing the public docks at Weirs Beach with an improved configuration to enhance boater access and docking space. Civilworks provided planning, permitting, engineering and now construction phase engineering services for this work.

The construction contractor took advantage of the thick ice this winter for demolition and dock re-decking, and now with the springtime ice thinning, barge-based pile driving for the dock extensions will begin next week. The reconstruction work is on schedule for completion before the boating season.
